construction covered in dacron sail cloth.
Building times come in at between 200 and 300 hours.
Seating is
side by side with dual stick, throttle, and rudders. The 41 inch
cabin fits even two large pilot comfortably. Visibility in the
trigear version is a little limited. Cabin noise is low. Control
pressures are light and responsive. The factory rates an A+ for
customer service and quality of kit
A T.U.F. VIEW
This
is one great aircraft, but don't order it with the shorter wing or
the 503 Rotax engine if
your planning on getting in and out of some remote field or lake.
With the larger wing and 65 HP this is one of the most gentle
forgiving aircraft on the market. Climb at gross is an honest 1000
feet per minute. Cruise at 5800 is a comfortable 85 m.p.h.. Stall
with flaps is very straight forward gentle nose drop at 35 m.p.h..
You'll become airborne in less than 150 feet on land and about 250
on floats. My preference would be the tail dragger.
Aircraft does
have a bit of adverse yaw, which you quickly get use to, and the
engine mount passes some vibration back through the rudder pedals.
