A T.U.F. VIEW
The Slingshot is an
outstanding cross country cruiser, with a cruise speed of over 85 m.p.h..
Climb is 1,000 feet per minute, while stall with the very large flaps
extended is just under 30 m.p.h. The factory reports that building times
should be in the 400/600 hour range with sub kit assemblies offered, which
will cut building times dramatically. The Slingshot gets a higher rating
than most new designs because it is based on the well proven Mark 111, and
Firestar.
