Construction is a welded 4130 steel fuselage, and tail section mated to
an all aluminum wing. Covering materials are standard aircraft covering.
Building times
are 400/600 hours. Approximately 100 craft are currently flying. Though not aerobatic the
company reports testing to +6 and -3G's.
The craft has folding wings for ease of storage.

The Ultra-Pup uses the "Preceptor Gold" 4 stroke 65 and 70 VW conversion engine
for power. With 70 horses cranked to its limits climb comes in at over 1000 feet per
minute, while backing down on power to cruise will bring the airspeed indicator back to 90
m.p.h.. Stall with flaps comes in at around 38. Cabin width is a comfortable 25 inches.
Visibility rates a B+, cabin noise B. A great little aircraft, and a great factory.
