Goldwing
Limited Aircraft's Goldwing ultralight is a singer seat,
foam and composite, low wing tricycle gear
aircraft, in a pusher configuration. The
Goldwing has a metal spring landing gear on the two main
wheels and bungee cord on the front steerable nose wheel.
Controls on the Goldwing are standard three axis stick and
rudder control. With wing tip rudders, ailerons, spoilers and a canard. It uses
a right hand stick and left hand throttle.
The Goldwing were powered by a Cuyuna 430 R with
a Winters reduction drive, an 18 HP Solo or a Lloyd DS2 28 HP engine. Cruise is
55 mph,70 VNE
mph, 25 stall mph, climb rate 800 feet per minute. The Goldwing was produced from
the late 70's until the early 80's. |
