Cobra A / B ultralight, ultra lite aircraft, amateur built, experimental, homebuilt aircraft.

Advanced Aviation Cobra was produced in two models the A and B model. The basic difference was the addition of ailerons and less dihedral in the B model. The Cobra is seater, single pusher engine mounted above the wing, high wing, wire braced craft. Construction is bolt together aluminum tubes covered in dacron sailcloth.

The control system is conventional 3-axis control system. The Cobra has a center mounted stick, with a left hand throttle.

The A model used spoilerons for roll control while the B model was equipped with ailerons, both craft had double surfaced wings.

The Cobra has a tricycle landing gear, uses torsion bar suspension, and the plane could be equipped with an optional steerable nose wheel with brakes on nosewheel.

Earlier models used the Cuyuna engine with a planetary reduction drive, later models came equipped with the Rotax 377/447 and an HP Model 503 Rotax with a 2.58 to 1 reduction drive.
