Aero Shelter Design - The all 14 gauge galvanized steel,
bolt together frame
supports a standard size tarp which acts as a weather barrier to protect your investment from the
elements. Aero shelter hanger design is
the simple application of a strong tubular truss system that supports a
fabric barrier. Similar to some aircraft wings, the strength
is generated from opposing triangles and cable tension support.
"This simple design provides the strength needed to protect against
the elements and maintain a cost effective manufacturing process." The
hangar kit comes in two sizes 24 ft. and 36 ft. With the 24 ft. model
selling for $2195 and the 36 ft. model $3395. The kit comes complete with
an assembly manual, and can be put up in about 3 days, by a couple of
builders using basic hand tools. The shelter is a bolt
together design with easy to follow instructions. Each arch is coupled to
an anchor system that can be set in concrete. Even if concrete is
used , the arches can be unbolted from the anchor tube and moved if
needed. The weak link in
the system, according to the designers is the tarp covering. In the case
of strong winds, (the hangar has been tested to 60 mph), the tarp will
fail, leaving the framework intact. For
