The air up there in the clouds is very pure and fine, bracing and
delicious. And why shouldn't it be? -- it is the same the angels
breathe." Mark Twain |

Loehle now offering Early Bird Jenny -
PLUS a whole lot more!
For over 20 years I have been making the trek to Sun N
Fun. Over that period of time you get to meet a great deal of people, and while you may only see them
once or twice a year you get to know them as friends.
Mike Loehle and his wife Sandy are two that I look forward to seeing each year. While Mike
was there this year, his wife was at home with the kids - do to school commitments. But
Mike was not alone - far from it he had more projects on the go in his commercial display
than I have fingers to count then on.
Mike started out way back in 1986 with the P 51 Mustang, and the Sport Parasol, then
introduced the P-40 these of course are all wood designs. In 1986 he branched out into the Spad, Fokker, and SE5A which use aluminum tube, rivets, and gusset type of construction.
Last year he introduced the Spitfire, and this year he and Dennis Wiley have gotten
together to allow Loehle to produce the Early Bird Jenny.
The Jenny is offered several ways as a materials kit or as a manufactured sub components.
Mike's long range goal is to be able to provide prefabricated wings which will allow for
"quick building" of the plane.
The Jenny has been powered by many different engines, including the Rotax line, Geo's etc.
According to Mike many owners have requested 4 stroke engine. To answer these requests
Dennis has designed a motor mount for the 2 cylinder Franklin aircraft engine.
